Midwest provides IEP support to the parents and guardians of children in public or private schools who need additional special education or 504 accommodations. We help all parties work together to design, implement, and monitor an individualized education plan that addresses the student’s individual strengths and areas of need.

Midwest has expertise in constructing and implementing care plans, finding and placing caregivers, creating budgets and working with medical providers, attorneys and trust officers. Supporting children with profound and serious disabilities that result in extreme functional impairment, Midwest will work with specialists such as physiatrists, speech and occupational therapists, pediatricians, and help procure necessary evaluations, equipment and services. 

When someone turns 18, they become an adult and are expected to make the right to make decisions about their medical treatment, finances and life. In situations where the young adult does not have the competency to understand the consequences of these decisions, Midwest can help. Serving as guardian or working with family members, we have vast experience managing healthcare, housing, and other subjects affecting the person.

In every interaction, we aim to identify needs and build a highly personalized care plan that empowers individuals with a maximum level of independence and overall quality of life. This includes maximizing services that are available through school and vocational agencies.
